'Going slow' is definitely a great technique of fighting storms in life...
At the same time, we should use time well...

 Set priorities....
Set concrete goals...
Confine to jobs of your core, specialty domain...
Stop running various types of jobs...
Improve your mental concentration through regular meditation...
Improve memory...
Take up one job at a time & finish it perfectly...

 Then,
take a break and relax ...
Never over-stress yourself continuously...

 Try to build a robust health...
Talk straight and to the point...
Stop jumping to conclusions, take time, verify facts, develop intuition...
'Stop being easily convinced by anybody'...
Think at least 3 steps ahead like that in ordinary level chess game...

 Human interaction is also a game of chess....one blunder can bring your defeat.....
Maintain your own trade secrets...
Be unique...
Be yourself...
Be your own boss...
Be practical....
Develop common sense in anything you are connected with...
Innovate...
Change yourself for the better on a continuous basis...
Have deep thinking and take steps that will bring you 'success & prosperity'....
